This is an action for rent brought against the tenant of an office that he had rented. The tenancy was month to month and the plaintiff seeks to recover one month's rent in the sum of $50. The action was instituted in the Magistrate Court of the City of St. Louis, where the trial resulted in a judgment for the defendant. The plaintiff appealed to the circuit court and there, upon a trial to the court, the defendant again prevailed, and the plaintiff...
