JOHNSON, Justice.

Civil action in tort by plaintiffs to recover for collision-damage to automobiles, allegedly caused by the negligence of the defendant.

At the close of the plaintiffs' evidence the trial court allowed the defendant's motion for judgment as of nonsuit. The single question presented for decision is whether this ruling was correct.

Highway No. 158 runs north and south along the beach from Nags Head through the town of Kill Devil Hills...
