On January 5, 1952, defendants and appellants Ray L. Ballbach and Kathleen Ballbach purchased, for $9,000, a 2-story home located on Troester avenue, Detroit (hereinafter referred to as the property). Defendants and appellants Alfred C. Ballbach and Ida Ballbach, father and mother of Ray L. Ballbach, advanced $6,000 of the purchase price and secured said amount with a mortgage on the property.
