This is an appeal by the plaintiff from a judgment of involuntary nonsuit in an action on an indebtedness.

Plaintiff sued as assignee of Northwest Oil Company, Incorporated, a corporation. The indebtedness was for gasoline sold by Northwest to the defendants, who were partners in the operation of a gasoline service station at Dallas, Oregon, which they leased from Northwest....
