In this personal injury case, appellant had been a passenger in a suburban Philadelphia bus, on a rainy summer afternoon. During the trip the bus driver, as an accommodation, stopped his vehicle as near as possible to his passengers' destinations regardless of street intersections. Immediately prior to the accident the bus was proceeding west on Bannockburn Avenue. The driver stopped it opposite appellant's house about 198 feet in from Bethlehem...
