Two appeals have been taken from judgments in mandamus directing the reinstatement of two former Philadelphia County employes to the positions from which they alleged they had been illegally dismissed. The City of Philadelphia was directed to reimburse plaintiffs for salaries found to have been unlawfully withheld, less money which they may have received during the period of improper dismissal.
