WALKER, Justice.

The defendant, United Fidelity Life Insurance Company, issued a policy to Carl C. Hallmark which insured his life for $1,000 and which, subject to certain conditions, also promised to pay an additional $1,000, termed "Double Indemnity Benefit", if his death was caused by a certain kind of accidental means. Mr. Hallmark died on April 7, 1948, and the plaintiff, who was his wife and the beneficiary named in the policy, promptly notified the defendant...
