This cause is a consolidation of two damage suits filed against the City of Houston, petitioner, and Robt. W. Wood; one by Jewell Wolverton and husband on account of the death of their daughter, Lois Whitt, and the other by A. G. Turner and wife, Ruby V. Turner, for personal injuries suffered by Mrs. Turner as well as medical expenses necessarily incurred as a result of her injuries. Miss Whitt was a passenger in an automobile driven by Mrs. Turner...
