The libelant, a longshoreman, was employed aboard the respondent motor ship Havfalk. He was working in the hold under hatch No. 4. His gang was moving heavy tin plates and he was using a crowbar in the performance of his work. While he was bending over, with this crowbar in his hand, he was struck in the back by some falling dunnage. The accident occurred on the 13th day of August, 1954, at about 10 a. m.
