Decedent died on February 4, 1949, leaving surviving his widow, the claimant, and two minor children. Prior to his death and while in the course of his employment decedent struck his left wrist on the body of a truck when he was picking up a can of garbage. Four days later a physician, who treated him, found an inflamed mass on the dorsal ulnar side of his left wrist which indicated an infected and contused laceration. The area was incised, drained and otherwise treated....
