This is an appeal from convictions of two landlords charged by information with "the CRIME OF FAILING TO KEEP GAS FIXTURES AND APPLIANCES IN GOOD ORDER AND REPAIR". The offense alleged, as appears from the trial, is the violation of section 277 of the Sanitary Code of the City of New York by failure to keep in good order and repair a gas refrigerator at an apartment in a building owned by defendants...
