The defendant was charged with nine separate counts of grand theft. He pleaded not guilty to each count and later was allowed to change his plea by pleading guilty to three of the counts. Still later, he was permitted to again change his plea and pleaded not guilty as to all counts. The jury found him guilty as charged on six counts, and not guilty on the other three. His motion for a new trial was denied...
