This is a motion to direct a witness to answer legal and proper interrogatories.

In December, 1952, and in January, 1953, the witness Amato was adjudged guilty of contempt of court, pursuant to section 750 of the Judiciary Law, for his contumacious and willful refusal to answer legal and proper interrogatories put to him before the Extraordinary Grand Jury.
