About 1:30 a.m. January 21, 1951, Jackson Blaine Cox while crossing U.S. Highway 91 in Orem, Utah was struck and fatally injured by an automobile driven by Cyril P. Thompson, defendant. Plaintiff, Norma D. Cox, his widow, as administratrix of his estate, brought this action against defendant Thompson to recover damages for the wrongful death of her husband.
