This is an action under the Federal Employers' Liability Act. The plaintiff suffered an injury to his left foot when a box fell upon it while he was restacking a load of boxes in a freight car. The petition charged that the defendant had improperly loaded the freight so that it was not balanced and thus rendered the car an unsafe place in which to work. There was a verdict for five thousand dollars for the plaintiff and the defendant prosecutes...
