In September, 1932, plaintiff in error, Richard Kamrowski, was facing charges under four indictments filed in the criminal court of Cook County. Indictment No. 64969 charged him with robbery, while indictments Nos. 64967, 64970, and 64972 each embraced separate charges of rape.
