These two actions were instituted by Reed Morgan and Carl W. Schmid, Sr., the respective plaintiffs therein, to obtain the return of certain slot machines owned by them and seized by agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigation in Louisville, Kentucky, on January 18, 1952.
