The plaintiff, Hoosier Casualty Company, is an Indiana insurance corporation which, among other insurance, writes automobile insurance. On June 19, 1950, at Marshalltown, Iowa, it issued and delivered to the defendant Wayne R. Fox a policy covering an automobile owned by him.
