This is an original proceeding commenced by Ogden City to compel the defendant to pay to it monies totalling $2800 which he has in his custody and control as State Treasurer. The monies were paid to the defendant by the clerk of the District Court in and for Weber County and represent fines paid by nineteen defendants in criminal actions.
