This is an action for damages for libel which resulted in verdict and judgment for the defendants, and the plaintiff appealed. He was a member of the State House of Representatives from York County. He alleged that he was the target of two letters which were published on Sept. 2, 1949 and Sept. 6, 1949, in the daily Rock Hill Evening Herald, addressed "To the Readers" and signed, respectively...
