On July 7, 1937, Clarence Arnold filed a suit for divorce from his wife Mary Arnold. On July 16, 1937, she filed an answer and cross-petition seeking a divorce from bed and board. On November 11, 1937, a child was born to this union, and he was named Harry Kent Arnold.
