August 14, 1945, Louis Doctovich, age 69, and Pearl D. Doctovich, age 45, intermarried at Billings. The groom had not been previously married. The bride was a widow with grown sons and daughters by her former marriage. The groom owned several small houses and other property in Billings including a modest three-room dwelling at 815 North 18th street where he resided and made his home.
