Plaintiffs in these three suits, which have been consolidated, are The Shell Company of Philippine Islands, Ltd., Standard-Vacuum Oil Company, and Caltex (Philippines), Inc., hereinafter referred to as Shell, Standard, and Caltex, respectively.
