On August 31, 1949, the Referee in Bankruptcy issued a citation to Fannie Maddux, the bankrupt, and to Willie Joe Hawks, and to J. L. Stern, attorney to appear before the District Judge at Greeneville, Tennessee, at 10:00 a. m. on Tuesday, September 20, and the Referee recommended therein that the parties be punished for contempt.
