This case is before us on defendant's plea to the jurisdiction of the court. Plaintiff, as executor under the last will and testament of Anna M. Kane, deceased, by his petition seeks to recover $5,000 which plaintiff claims was due and owing from defendant to said decedent as beneficiary of War Risk Insurance on the life of her son, Patrick J. Kane, Jr. The latter is alleged to have died on June 24, 1945, as a result of mortal injuries received...
