By an indictment in four counts, Jack D. Vickers, Dorthy Lee Chandler, and Philip Brockwell were charged with four offenses. The first count was based upon 18 U.S.C.A. § 88, which makes it a crime to conspire to commit an offense against the United States if any act is done to effect the object of the conspiracy.
