This proceeding involves income tax liability for the calendar year 1941 in the amount of $3,066.43. The sole contested issue is whether respondent erred in denying petitioner a long-term capital loss on the sale, in 1941, of certain shares of the capital stock of the Petroleum Rights Corporation.
