The Evangelical Lutheran Synod of Kansas and Adjacent States, an ecclesiastical corporate entity chartered and existing under and by virtue of the laws of Kansas, is an orthodox synod in the United Lutheran Church in America; and Midwest Synod is likewise an orthodox synod in the United Lutheran Church.
