The complaint in this case charges the defendant and its predecessor in business, Associated Oil Company, with infringement of plaintiff's patents Nos. 1,705,809, 1,864,755, and 1,869,885. The answer and amended answers raise the usual issues as to validity and infringement and, in addition, plead that the defendant is licensee under the patents in suit. The latter defense has been separately tried and determined adversely to the defendant...
