This case presents a controversy as to seamens' wages. The motorship Austvard, of Norwegian ownership and registry, arrived at the Port of Baltimore on July 21, 1940. Since then she has been loaded with a cargo of scrap iron destined for some port in or near England, and is now undergoing certain repairs before beginning the outward voyage.
