The grounds alleged were that, while insolvent, he (1) transferred and removed, and permitted to be conveyed, transferred and removed, or concealed property and money exceeding $5,000 in value, with the intent to hinder, delay, and defraud his creditors; and (2) paid one creditor with the intent to prefer it over others.
