The Chromium Plating Company conceived a plan for insuring its employees against accidents instead of carrying workman's compensation insurance. Mr. Broadhurst, its Secretary-Treasurer, discussed the policies with Mr. Hundahl, defendant's agent, and arranged for him to go to the employer's factory to take the employees' applications.
