This is an equity suit brought by appellee to rescind a contract executed by appellant and appellee for the sale of corporate stock upon the ground that the transaction for the transfer of the stock was a violation of the California Blue Sky Law (St. Cal.1913, p. 715, as amended). The lower court held the contract of sale void and rendered judgment against appellant for the value of appellee's business which had been transferred to appellant...
