Findings of Fact.

1. On June 1, 1923, Court Oreilles Land Company, a Wisconsin corporation, executed promissory notes payable to bearer in the aggregate principal sum of $25,000, bearing interest at 6 per cent., payable semiannually, and maturing June 1, 1933. These notes were secured by a mortgage or deed of trust to A. W. Kopp, as trustee, covering approximately 4,000 acres of land situated in Sawyer county, Wis., and principally located in the Court Oreilles...
