The controversy is whether a judgment creditor has a valid lien on certain personal property owned by the bankrupt. The facts are not in dispute. One MacArthur recovered judgment against the bankrupt for $2,223.78 on November 23, 1933, on a claim for unpaid rent. Execution was issued and a levy on the bankrupt's furniture made on December 11, 1933. By written stipulation between the judgment creditor and the bankrupt on January 15, 1934...
