The appellant, Raymond Holt, was the foreman of the garage, dispatcher and general office man of the Chicago-Detroit Express Company, which company operated a motor trucking business between Detroit and Chicago. He was not a stockholder or officer of the corporation, but, under the title of assistant secretary, he had power to sign checks, employ additional trucks to handle freight, furnish drivers with expense money, quote and fix rates...
