Plaintiff in error was convicted in the District Court of the United States for the Eastern District of Oklahoma on three counts of an indictment charging violation of Criminal Code, § 163 (Comp. St. § 10333), relative to counterfeiting gold or silver coins or bars of the United States. On one count of the indictment a verdict of not guilty was returned upon direction of the court. Sentences of imprisonment in the penitentiary for five years...
