This is an appeal from a decision of the Commissioner of Patents awarding a patent to Willoughby and Lowell for a special kind of loop antennæ designed for vessels of metal and particularly for submarines.

The interference in this case was declared on the following claims taken from patent No. 1,303,709, issued to James Harris Rogers on May 13, 1919, and copied by Willoughby and Lowell in the application filed by them for a patent on October...
