On his own behalf and on behalf of the owners, officers and crew of the Norwegian steamship "Selja," the petitioner, Olaf Lie, her master, instituted this suit in admiralty against the American steamship "Beaver" to recover for the loss of the "Selja," her equipment and the personal effects of her officers and crew, which was occasioned by the collision of the two ships...
