This appeal arises from two unrelated personal injury protection (PIP) lawsuits that involved identical legal issues and were consolidated for trial. SOCC, d/b/a South Orange Wellness and Injury Center, is a medical provider, which provided treatment to Michelle Badillo and Carmen Garcia for injuries they sustained in separate automobile accidents.
