The Commonwealth appeals the lower court's order dated May 17, 1996, suppressing the evidence seized by a Pittsburgh Housing Authority Police Officer following the warrantless arrest of appellee for violating the motor vehicle code and the drug laws. The lower court determined that the housing authority police officer did not have jurisdiction to arrest appellee, and, therefore, suppressed the evidence seized by the officer.
